Edinburgh Adult & Junior Pairs

The EBL committee would like to explore the interest of an Adult & Junior pairs competition. The tournament would take place on the 25th August at Willowbrae BC
There will be no limit on the number of entries from each club, all we stipulate is the Junior must be under 17 as per SYBA rules.

We think this could be a very exciting and fun tournament and highlight the excellent skills of the juniors in Edinburgh.

Please notify you and your clubs interest via EBL Secretary Robert by the 10th August 2019.

Do A Run Every Day (D.A.R.E.D.)

The Edinburgh Bowling League has raised almost £70,000 over the years for a range of worthy causes.  As 2019 President, I have chosen Circle Scotland as our charity partner.  Circle do great work in the Lothian’s and Central Scotland, “Improving the lives of children by strengthening families”.

The D.A.R.E.D challenge is to run a mile every day in the month of June.  Those who know me or have seen the nick of me, will realise this will be easier said than done!

Please donate to support the most disadvantaged children and families to improve their lives, promote their healthy development and reach their potential.  Or better still, sign up too and help raise for a worthy cause.

You can help President Steven and his charity, Circle, by clicking the JustGiving link and donating what you can.

Donation cans are also available in some clubs for collecting spare change and as always there will be loads of opportunity at the Charity Triples day on June 15th at Willowbrae BC

Mental Health Awareness Week

Monday May 13th is the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week for 2019. Individuals who suffer from any form should always have someone to talk with. The EBL committee have put together some useful telephone numbers and websites on cards and distributed to all member clubs.
